Adam Bailey

My passion for building brands and crafting designs started early—third grade, to be exact. I was at my best friend’s house when we created a snowboard company for our stuffed bears called “Slate Snowboards.” The board graphics were heavily influenced by the Memphis Design style and Duran Duran album covers—in essence, they were totally ’80s and totally awesome…at least, that’s how I choose to remember it.

As I got older, I realized that commercial art could be a career. After all, someone has to design those comic book covers, skateboard graphics, and Lemonheads albums!

Over twenty years later, I’ve built a career creating brands, leading teams, and designing visuals that connect with consumers. My goal has always been twofold: to help people make sense of a chaotic world through clear design and to spark joy. There’s nothing better than making someone smile with the work you’ve created.

I’ve spent most of my career at Mass. Bay Brewing Co., where I’ve helped lead multiple full brand refreshes for Harpoon and UFO. I’ve played a critical role in launching new brands like Dunkin’ Spiked and sub-brands like Harpoon Leviathan, along with creating countless limited-release product designs, festival graphics, and tee-shirts.

While we don’t “do design” for trophies, we have submitted various projects for awards in the past. Some winners include:
